If you&#8217;re not a fan of videos, we&#8217;ll have the transcripts below. Basically, marketing is just education. When you&#8217;re marketing your company, you&#8217;re educating your prospects, your community what you do. It still amazes me how many construction companies tell me they don&#8217;t do marketing. Well, they actually are doing marketing; they just don&#8217;t realize it. They may not be doing TV ads, sending postcards, or doing things like trade shows, but \u00a0they&#8217;re still doing marketing, especially brand marketing.<\/p>\n<p>Brand marketing is every interaction you have with a client, a prospect, with a community member, or an employee. Its all part of that brand experience and it effects how people perceive your company. Even though you think you&#8217;re not doing traditional marketing, you still have pieces of yoru brand and you&#8217;re still marketing. So everything you guys do from your job site signage, to your performance, and if you submit a proposal that doesn&#8217;t look so good actually effects your brand and your marketing.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t think you&#8217;re not doing marketing because everything you do is your brand.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re trying something new (something we&#8217;ve wanted to do for a while now) and doing video blog posts occasionally.
